BUILD is a national entrepreneurship and college access program for high school students in underserved communities. Through the process of collaboratively planning, pitching, launching, and running their own small businesses, students develop the 21st Century Skills they need to succeed in high school, college, and career.
9th grade BUILD students pitch their business ideas to a panel of guest judges to secure start-up funding.
Before launching their businesses, students develop and test prototypes, building their creativity and problem solving skills.
When student teams launch their businesses, BUILD hosts pop-up shops so students can pitch and sell their products to the public.
