Un(re)solved
Partners: WGBH & PBS FRONTLINE
My Role: Production Assistant | Story Editor | Fact Checker
Year: 2020-2021
Overview
Un(re)solved was an Emmy Award-winning, multi-platform investigation led by FRONTLINE examining the legacy of racist killings and the federal effort to investigate unsolved civil rights-era murders under the Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crime Act. As one of several project partners, StoryCorps recorded nearly two dozen oral histories with victims' families, preserving first-hand accounts that became an integral part of the documentary, podcast, interactive experience, and the permanent StoryCorps archive at the Library of Congress.
My Contribution
I joined the project while production was already underway, supporting StoryCorps' contribution to the larger investigation. I edited audio stories, provided editorial feedback to producers, and fact-checked select stories to help prepare them for publication across the Un(re)solved project.
